    Disney Streaming is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to join our Commerce Team and lead teams through the development, rollout and adoption of several programs that extend the functionality of the payment services across Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Star+. In this role, you are expected to work with various partners including Product & Engineering Teams to coordinate cross-team initiatives that deliver on Disney Streaming business goals & objectives.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ability to breakdown and reconstruct a problem for better clarity amongst program stakeholders, and drive to resolution in a timely fashion
    • Partner with Product and engineering leaders to help set the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for the payment teams
    • Track team progress against deliverables and work with the team to identify solutions to get back on-track when the team falls behind schedule
    • Ability to handle multiple team requests and balance that against competing priorities and committed work.
    • Must understand the impact of injecting these requests to the team’s backlog
    • Lead the delivery of projects from concept to completion by collaborating with engineering teams, product management and developing detailed project plans from development to deployment
    • Understand architectural and design specifications. Suggest alternate solutions that achieve business goals and/or drive alternate solution development via collaborative mechanisms such as story mapping and whiteboarding
    • Collaborate with other TPMs to understand cross-team dependencies and prioritize the work to avoid impediments
    • Work with the development team to create delivery timelines of feature sets for projects, and be able to sequence the work based on priorities
    • Lead and grow individuals by mentoring, providing performance reviews and career growth through continuous feedback

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability with Agile project management in a hands-on role
    • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and growing transparency
    • Technical knowledge of architecture and development practices
    • Experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master for a software development team
    • Experienced staff manager
