    Job Description:

    The role will be responsible for managing the account planning cycle and activities to ensure the assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met and align to our internal priorities and business goals. The position requires strong client management, interpersonal, relationship management skills, as well as problem-solving, and the ability to identify opportunities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, attending relevant conferences, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
    • Build an internal network of key contacts across multiple functions and business units to support with the development and delivery of all CTS projects
    • Improve customer service quality results by analyzing, studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establish and recommend service metrics; monitor and analyze results; and recommend innovative solutions to create efficiencies within current operations
    • Regularly evaluate the customer’s portfolio and pipeline; lead the strategic account review process with operational leaders to uncover organic and new growth opportunities with existing customers and enterprises; offer solutions to drive efficiencies, improve quality and/or partner satisfaction; conduct ongoing segmentation analysis to ensure high potential customers are targeted
    • Lead regular account review meetings with customers to ensure that contractual terms and service level agreements are met or exceeded; suggest additional products/services to deepen customer relationship
    • Oversee the buy/sell models for CTS clients and ensure pricing strategy is established to maximize profitability for McKesson
    • Direct forward-thinking discussions, challenge resolution and opportunity identification with manufacturing partners that introduce new solutions/services establishing McKesson as the partner of choicecustomer relationships currently at risk; lead the efforts with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure retention of the current customer base
    • Recommend program enhancements to clients based on an in-depth knowledge of broader McKesson offerings, industry trends, healthcare landscape/legislative impacts and the competitive environment
    • Achieve strategic account management objectives by robustly analyzing customer information and leveraging an in-depth knowledge of broader McKesson offerings
    • Create an environment of constant customer contact, visiting customers regularly, conducting surveys, benchmarking best practices and analyzing program data
    • Participate in the contract renewal process when applicable and lead the contract negotiation
